Let me start by saying, I read the Sex on the Beach Series
one after the other with this being my last. I thought it was another story
involving two spring breakers who fall in love.
I think this is why I was confused in the beginning. Since the
book is a suspense and mystery of sorts, I don’t want to give anything away.
But I didn’t feel any connection to the two main characters until about halfway
through. Even then there were times I didn’t understand the dynamic of their
relationship. That being said though,
this all could have very well been done on purpose, it was hard to tell.
The book did keep me turning the page due to the doubt that
maybe I hadn’t actually figured the mystery out. Not that I’m going to tell
you. LOL. It’s a nice wrap up, having the closure of where these three best
friends experienced on what was supposed to be their carefree week.
4 STARS!! Had me turning pages, Had me intrigued, Had me
wondering, Had me curious.

I must be honest, when I started reading the first chapter I
thought for sure this book was going to be the typical story of bad boy meets
good girl and they fall in love.
But and this is a HUGE but, it’s so much more! I was
swooning over Austin immediately and Mackenzie is an awesome heroin in her own
right. She definitely sees what she
wants and goes after it, which I loved. They both attempt to ignore the bond
that clearly resonates between them. As they continue to fight their feelings,
it’s not only their bodies merging together, but hearts as well.
The book is well-written allowing you to feel every emotion
brought between two people who live in completely different worlds. The sex
scenes were AMAZING…they had me still reeling over them days later.
Was it a tad unrealistic….maybe. Could the characters have
been shaken back to their senses…maybe. But then how could you lose yourself in
a story, if it was similar to your everyday life and everyone thought rationally
all of the time?
5 stars! Had me swooning, Had me fanning, Had me awing, Had
me punching and Had my kindle stuck in my hand until I finished!

This has been the first book in awhile where I loved the
female through and through. Quinn has her head on straight and the vision of
her future in sight. Although she has many problems, she’s persevered her whole
life and isn’t going to let some rich punk who doesn’t know his ass bring her
down. Of course, James is dreamy and
that whole outward appearance isn’t him, but we’ll get to him in a second.
Quinn held her own the whole book and I wasn’t disappointed in one decision she
made.
So James, our trust fund boy with gorgeous blue eyes that
finally comes out of his tunnel and figures out what he wants in life is not
surrounding him but standing up on a railing. Although some of James actions
and decisions aren’t the best, I couldn’t help but feel for the guy and root
for him to not only win his girl but to figure himself out at the same time. I
wanted the kid to fight for himself and claim what should be his.
The chemistry and sexual tension was HOT! I think I might
have gotten as many goosebumps as Quinn did when James touched or spoke to her
in his sexy smooth tone.
I fell hard for Quinn and James and couldn’t help being
their biggest cheerleader on the sidelines to fight for what they have. I miss
them already!
5 STARS!! Had me cheering, Had me awing, Had me clenching,
Had me boiling (toward other characters), Had me falling in love!!
