Cover Reveal: All Lined Up by Cora Carmack

Release Date: May 13, 2014
Preorder: Amazon B&N iTunes

In Texas, two things are cherished above all else—football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both.

Dallas Cole loathes football. That's what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past.

But life doesn't always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again.

Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It's obliterated.

Dallas doesn't know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn't know that Dallas is his new coach's daughter.

And neither of them knows how to walk away from the attraction they feel.

Cora Carmack is a twenty-something writer who likes to write about twenty-something characters. She's done a multitude of things in her life-- boring jobs (like working retail), Fun jobs (like working in a theatre), stressful jobs (like teaching), and dream jobs (like writing). She enjoys placing her characters in the most awkward situations possible, and then trying to help them get a boyfriend out of it. Awkward people need love, too. Her first book, LOSING IT, was a New York Times and USA Today bestseller.

Review and Giveaway: Seduction and Snacks by Tara Sivec

Claire is a twenty-something, single mom that grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life.

When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.

With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim to none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

Warning: contains explicit sex, profanity and enough sarcasm to choke a horse.

Warning: Be prepared to laugh your butt off and swear off Arby’s!

This was our first Tara Sivec book, and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a sappy romance, this is not the book for you. Seduction and Snacks is filled from start to finish with dildo’s, drunken mistakes, f bombs and a lot of dirty talk.

Peer pressure is a bitch. That is what landed Claire in the situation she is in, losing her virginity in a random drunken hookup…and then 9 months later SURPRISE! Not even knowing her baby daddy’s name. Claire is forced to take on being a single mother and giving up her life.

Seduction and Snacks was hilarious, it had us peeing our pants in laughter (yet another reason not to have kids). We were out loud laughing at the quick wit of Tara Sivec. Even a few more pages after, a line would linger in our heads and we'd begin laughing at it all over again. Her secondary characters were just as hilarious and realistic as her primary. You'll easily fall in love with all of them. It took us back to our young adolescence with her movie line quotes that the characters bantered back and forth.

Our only negative thing is, we would have enjoyed it better if we got more romance with the comedy. We needed a little bit of sappy with my hot dirty sex…just a little!

We thoroughly enjoyed this book and will definitely be picking up her others!! If you are in the mood to laugh out loud making people give you the glare of death while you just say "It's just so damn funny," and point to your kindle, this is it!!

Blog Tour & Giveaway ~ Back To Life by Danielle Allen

Sahara Lee has spent the last ten years living with the guilt of a tragic accident and its aftermath. That night irrevocably changed the outgoing, fun-loving college freshman into an introverted, workaholic with no social life. Sahara isolates herself from everyone and everything that reminds her of home in an effort to forget what happened. Using art as a substitute for love, Sahara throws herself into music and art as a way to feel something other than the guilt that haunts her. She accepts her lonely existence as penance for the role she played in the accident. That is, until she meets Tyree Barker, the good looking entrepreneur with baggage of his own.

Blindsided by a legal loophole, Sahara is suddenly forced to confront the past she’s been running from. Juggling the guilty feelings of her past and the unexpected feelings of her present, Sahara’s future becomes complicated as she heads down a path of forgiveness, love, and heartbreak…and not in that particular order.

Back to Life reminds you that living and existing are two completely different ways to go through life. Grief will break you but guilt, guilt will destroy you. And once that happens, what can bring you back to life?

Well…I was going to wait until tomorrow to write my review of Back to Life, but I decided to do it now while all the emotions are still fresh in my mind. I went into the book blindly, without knowing anything about the storyline. I never even read the synopsis since Danielle gifted it to me for an honest review. I started this book late one night. I thought I would get through a couple chapters before going to bed, but after I finished the prologue, I knew it was going to be a long night. After the prologue you are fast-forwarded ten years later to a very damaged Sahara Lee, where the story begins to unfold.

My emotions were everywhere in this book but two feelings remained constant, hope and love. This was a journey I would put myself through again and again. Danielle Allen wrote this so beautifully, slowly revealing secrets. Bringing in new twists just as you think you have it figured out, keeping your mind in constant motion. Back to Life is filled with first love, adult love, and friendship. The characters are all lovable, especially Sahara and Tyree. Oh, Tyree, there are no words for him. I can only wave my hand in front my face to cool it down. He’s completely delectable! Don’t double think this one, click it!

Favorite Quote from this book:  “When I’m with you, things don’t seem as dark.”

I am a married event planner and life coach.  My awesome friends and family and my amazing husband make my life sweet.  I love to have fun and enjoy the life I’ve been blessed with.  I love shopping and football with equal fervor.  I’m an amateur movie critic (i.e. my husband and I watch and critique a lot of movies for fun). I love to read and I enjoy sharing my love of books with anyone who will listen. I love music. A good lyric with a good melody can paint a vivid picture and invoke such a range of emotions. I have a soft spot for most mediums of creative, artistic expression.

With degrees in psychology, human services, and marriage and family counseling, I have a unique perspective on life, love and the pursuit of happiness.   As an author, I combine an active imagination and life experiences to create stories that are easily relatable and intentionally intriguing.  I want to offer you a peek into someone else’s life and for you to get lost in their story, their trials, their triumphs.  My ultimate goal is to create a character or a story that stays with you long after you’ve put the book down.So in a nutshell: I plan. I teach. I read. I write. I watch.

I critique. I shop. I play. I love.
To know me is to love me.

Release Day Blitz & Giveaway: Girl in Love by Caisey Quinn

The highly anticipated conclusion to the Kylie Ryans series is

AVAILABLE NOW!

She's living her dream...

Kylie Ryans is the biggest thing to come out of Nashville since, well, since Trace Corbin. With a hit album and a powerful label behind her, she appears to be the girl who has it all.

But appearances can be deceiving.

Fresh out of rehab, Trace Corbin is ready to take on the world. Just not the girl he walked away from. Because if there's one thing he knows for certain, it's that the people you love are the ones who have the power to destroy you.

As their worlds collide, they'll have to make the ultimate choice. Follow their dreams, or give it all up for love.

They say love conquers all, but for Kylie and Trace, it just might wreck everything they've worked for.

TRAILER

“I don’t want to be involved in anyone’s game. Not his and not the label’s. That’s how I started out, and I’ve put it behind me. My career is about me. Not about him and not about whatever the label wants to spin us as. He and I are nothing and it’s going to stay that way.”
“He who?” Maude Lowenstein prompted. “If your feelings for him aren’t an issue, then how come you haven’t said his name? He’s not Voltemort, last I checked. Saying his name won’t conjure him out of thin air.”
Kylie resisted the urge to fold her arms and glare at the surprisingly sharp and callous woman in her late sixties. And to storm the hell out. She took a deep breath and shrugged.
“Trace. His name is Trace. And while I fully support his A Hand Up charity-thing, I have no interest in being involved in his benefit concert. I’ll donate a signed guitar or something. But I’m not going to it. I wasn’t even technically invited. We done here?”
She began to scoot out of the booth, but her manager reached out and put a hand on her arm.
“You were invited, Kylie. He’s having a hard time. The venue pulled out because of his rehab stay and so did some of his family-friendly sponsors. The event’s been moved to his property in Macon and his sister called me personally and invited you.”
He’s having a hard time.
The words wrapped around her heart and squeezed. Kylie swallowed and looked up at the ceiling. She sucked in a lungful of air and glanced from her agent to her manager.
“All I have to do is show up?”
The other two people at her table exchanged glances and Chaz cleared his throat.
“Um, not exactly. The label was hoping you and Trace would sing The Other Side of Me. On the tailgate of some truck that’s being donated to his charity.”
Kylie’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Why do they want us to sing it at some benefit? I don’t see how that would make any difference to them.”
“We don’t know for sure,” Maude answered. “But if I had to make an educated guess, I’d say they’re playing with the idea of sending you two on tour together. Again.”
