This was our first Tara Sivec book, and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a sappy romance, this is not the book for you. Seduction and Snacks is filled from start to finish with dildo’s, drunken mistakes, f bombs and a lot of dirty talk.
Peer pressure is a bitch. That is what landed Claire in the situation she is in, losing her virginity in a random drunken hookup…and then 9 months later SURPRISE! Not even knowing her baby daddy’s name. Claire is forced to take on being a single mother and giving up her life.
Seduction and Snacks was hilarious, it had us peeing our pants in laughter (yet another reason not to have kids). We were out loud laughing at the quick wit of Tara Sivec. Even a few more pages after, a line would linger in our heads and we'd begin laughing at it all over again. Her secondary characters were just as hilarious and realistic as her primary. You'll easily fall in love with all of them. It took us back to our young adolescence with her movie line quotes that the characters bantered back and forth.
Our only negative thing is, we would have enjoyed it better if we got more romance with the comedy. We needed a little bit of sappy with my hot dirty sex…just a little!
We thoroughly enjoyed this book and will definitely be picking up her others!! If you are in the mood to laugh out loud making people give you the glare of death while you just say "It's just so damn funny," and point to your kindle, this is it!!
