*~* Synopsis *~*

Picking up the pieces to a broken life can be long and bumpy. Most often than not things get worse before they get better.

Convinced she’s going to finally get her happily ever after fate steps in once again and she suffers betrayal and shame at the greatest degree.

Will she give the idea of love a second chance and find her one and only or will her dark secrets prevent her from truly finding herself?

Behind every prince is a story left untold.
Look behind the mask and you’ll see it unfold…

Sawyer has lived a charmed life. He’s the catch every girl is after when dreaming of her very own storybook ending. In real life, though, nothing is like it is in a fairytale. One childhood event can forever affect how a man looks at love and relationships, even a golden guy like Sawyer.

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Isn’t that what everyone has always taught in history class? He doesn’t have time for love or commitment.
Even the most skeptical with love can sometimes find it in the strangest of places, when that one special someone catches his eye, suddenly leaving him dazed and confused.

The only way to reap the benefits of true love is to put your own demons behind and give love a shot…

When secrets start to arise will the two beat the odds or part ways and let it destroy them both?

*~* My Review *~*

HOLY SMOKES!!! This book tore me up from bottom to top and cover to cover. Chrissy is an amazing writer and just wow.. This book will make you feel EVERY emotion you have PERIOD!! I cried, got seriously pissed, super hot, sad to tears, and loved to tears.

Charisa AKA Cherry has been through so much but still carries herself through every day trying to better her life no matter what. She has been torn apart in every sense of the word but still loves and cares for others. Trusting them might be a different story but she sure tries to keep her life on track in spite of her past.

Sawyer is just a hot, intelligent, successful tattoo wearing bike riding sexy man. He is about to graduate college when his life changes little by little. Between break ups, and trying to keep his family close no matter what he too has to handle the ups and downs that are thrown his way.

This book really had me glued from the beginning. I am absolutely in love with this book!! Thank you so much Chrissy for allowing me to review such an awesome book!! Five heart wrenching stars have been granted :)

*~* NEW RELEASE AND ON SALE NOW FOR 99¢ *~*

24606801 DS Lana Finch is a twenty-five-year-old social worker. She believes wholeheartedly in saving the world—one broken kid at a time. Lana is headstrong, she’s righteous and she’ll let nothing stand in her way. Except for maybe her entire family that’s financially dependent on her. Enter Mozey Cruz, the eighteen-year-old juvenile delinquent assigned to her charge. He’s an illusive artist, he’s misunderstood, and he’s a natural born troublemaker. Their love is illegal, much like Mozey’s undocumented status in the States. So Lana lets him go even though it might be the worst mistake she’ll ever make. But destiny has a way of catching up with us even when we run from it. Los Angeles------------ ------------Detroit Tijuana------------ ------------Mexico City But first, Lana has to find him before she can deliver him.     DELIVERTYEXCERPT Monday morning is bad. I’m a complete wack job. Do you know how to ignore someone you have the total hots for? What if you had to see them everyday? Could you do it? I can help. Been there-done that. Just let me explain. Here’s how . . . One: deny eye contact. All eye contact must and will be denied. Look at the floor. Study the cracks in the linoleum and the stains on the carpet. Memorize the thick, yellowing varnish on the hardwood floors in the hall and try to come up with a number for how many times they’ve been sanded and sealed up again. There’s so much to see (on the floor) if you only look hard enough. Two: sex—have a few one-night stands with dudes who are sufficiently attractive enough for you to get a lady boner going after a couple of drinks. (Does this, perhaps, sound kind of repulsive to you? Believe me, it can be if you don’t have the right attitude.) They’re of age, adults, consensual, informed, blah, blah, blah (but please, do note that those things are important). This stops your body from pleading with you for just one more kiss from the person you’re dying inside for and trying so desperately to avoid. It works; just make sure you use protection so you don’t end up with any diseases or a case of the babies. What? I’m gross you’re thinking? I’m telling you, releasing sexual tension is of utmost necessity. Three: throw yourself at someone else. Do you have a Gunnar Anderson who frequents your office? Use it to your advantage. Peel your eyeballs off of the dotted ceiling board and flirt with him, ruthlessly, aimlessly until you’re giddy from so much stupidity, until your face fucking hurts from being such a ventriloquist’s dummy. Don’t sleep with your Gunnar. That would complicate things. This needs to remain fairly easy. We’re trying to get a job done here, aren’t we? Four: drink. Not just get blasted on Fridays but every night of the torturous week. Drink wine out of a box on Wednesday while you binge on Chinese take-out and watch terrible TV. Then accidently let out your neighbor’s cat—the one you’re supposed to be feeding. Spend all day Thursday making missing cat fliers at the office in between puking sessions in the communal staff bathroom. Done! Five: last but not least, stop trying. Look like shit. Don’t even wash your clothes. How can anyone be attracted to you when they are starting to suspect that secretly you’re homeless? You can bathe, but do it without enthusiasm. Leave a ton of conditioner in your hair, so it takes on that dull, greasy sheen that Daisy’s fur had when you finally found her after work one night, meowing outside the Lavateria six blocks from your house. It’s effective. It works. It hurts like a bitch. Especially when you have to stare at the beautiful painting he made you every time you step foot in the office. You have to remember he thinks you’re an impenetrable prickly pear when all you want in the world is for it to be him who penetrates you. On (oh!) so many levels.         DB

*~* My Review *~*

Once again another awesome book by Lacey!! I LOVED it!!! On to the review....

Annabelle is a strong and loving woman in this book. She is going through so much that she doesn't know where her life will lead next. Running from San Francisco but also going to help her parents has really turned her around in such a short period of time. Anna is having such a hard time trying to decipher fantasy and reality at times but little by little she finds out. I really loved her character because although she has been through so much she still tries to move on and enjoy what is at her fingertips.

Derek is an amazing man that he himself has been through the ringer. Between losing close friends, his best friends family being hunted and trying to find peace in his own life this man is truly spinning. He is such a strong and loving character in this book because although he has had so much loss over the last couple years he still pushes through and finds what he truly wants. I love Derek because although Annabelle keeps pulling away from Derek he never gives up on her.

Lacey truly knows how to write a love story with a little mystery suspense. This book is filled with heartache, love, sexy time, and death. ROLLER COASTER but the story around it all is a great one that will keep you wanting more!! I am so anxious to read the next that I am gonna stop here to go read the next one.  So I have granted five oily stars :)

*~* Review *~*

This book was amazing and full of all the emotions we possess.
I was in love with all the main characters and was on the edge of my seat through the whole book. Between the killer situations and relationship ups and downs this book had it all. Now on to the character reviews.

Jennifer is the beauty that has been through a hard loss that she's moving forward from. She is such a strong and sassy character and I just adored her. With her husband gone and her daughter away at college she's working to find her own place in the world. I just loved her passion and stubbornness. I wanted to give her high fives all through the book. Lol She really was so awesome to read about.

Jack is your sexy alpha that protects his town and all that live there. He's a ladies man and has definitely made his way through quite a few women that live in Gunnison. His life has always been his job until a little sassy woman comes to town. I enjoyed Jacks character because although he's a hardass he was still caring and hardworking.

I can not wait to read the next book in this series. C.P. is an awesome writer and has definitely caught my interest!! Five stars have been granted :)

***BOOK BLITZ for WHAT LURKS IN THE DARK by J.L. Drake***

Synopsis
He was a hunter, a killer, a psychopath. He was always watching and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
She was his greatest obsession.
Pushing through her past, Emily McPhee was finally where she wanted to be. She had pulled straight A’s, had a home in Southern California, money, and a great group of friends.

Now, fighting to get back to what she once had, Emily must deal with more than just this psychopath, but also with her self-involved mother and her one true love that’s pulling away.
How hard would you fight the darkness that’s threatening to take over your life?

Goose bumps raced over me as I desperately felt around the edges of the door, clawing at the wood next to it, trying to find a way out.  I heard a sound and found a set of eyes staring back at me from a Judas hole. –From What Lurks In The Dark
