The Over Duet Turned Two Today!

The Over Duet Turned Two Today!

Two years ago today, I pressed publish on Ever Over After, and The Over Duet was complete! Between the New Orleans vibes, the snarky-as-hell Marlo, and a hero that redeems himself like a BOSS, these books will always have a special place in my heart.
If you're a fan of The Over Duet, the graphic above has one of my favorite quotes from Ever. SWOON ...
If you haven't read Low and Ever yet, these are my only books that can't be read as standalones. But trust me, you need two books for the amazingness that is Marlo and Ever.
These lovelies are available in Kindle Unlimited and they're also available in audio. Jeremy York and Neva Nevarre will knock your socks off--they did such an amazing job.
I Need The Over Duet in My Life!

Small Towns and Cozy Mysteries!

Lately, I've been looking for light, fun, and oh so cozy reads. There are two series that I want to tell you about because they've me cracking up. One is a cozy mystery series and the other is a small town romance series, and they're both amazing!
Bootleg Springs Series
These books take place in a small town in West Virginia with a long history of moonshining, bootlegging, and having a shit ton of fun. The Bodine family is at the center of it all, and I'm loving watching them fumble their way through love and life. Redneck romance and crazy antics at their very best! The first two books in the series are on SALE right now, and the fourth book of the series, Bourbon Bliss, just released. ALL ARE AVAILABLE ON KU, TOO!
Rose Gardner Mystery Series
This series is the first time I've read anything "cozy mystery," and I'm hooked! Rose Gardner is sweet, innocent, clairvoyant girl from Arkansas, although her momma's convinced she's demon possessed. She works at the DMV and gets into WAY too much trouble with her best friend, Neely Kate. Throw in the police, who are convinced Rose is behind every crime in Fenton County, and the sexy, mysterious neighbor that just moved in, and we've got ourselves a hot mess of fun. BONUS--the first book in the Rose Gardner Series is FREE right now!

Review: Year of the Guilty Soul

Year of the Guilty Soul Year of the Guilty Soul by A.M. Leibowitz
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book of AM I have read and OMG!! I absolutely loved and the story is more common than what most are used to BUT we are coming out ;)

I love that each character has their own battles that are each different in their own manner. I'm not going to give too much out but if you have ever struggled with your sexuality, struggled in school, or both or even just today's day and age in any type of personal struggle this book is for you!!

I'm so ready to read more of this series!! I'm grateful I got to read this book and relate in so many ways!!

*~* COVER REVEAL*~*

COMING JANUARY 10TH
Add to your TBR list
I’d once been a great dancer. A ballerina. But an injury ended my career, had me longing to go back in time, had me loathing the city and the very profession I’d once loved.

So, I decided to get away from it all, go out in the middle of nowhere to clear my head, and focus on what was important.
Things were going great until a bear was at my back door, trying to get in. And it ended with me wielding a knife for protection and realizing it wasn’t just any bear, but a shifter who claimed to be my mate.

Maddix.

Strong and powerful, his very presence had me questioning my entire existence. The mating was fast and furious, potent and real. It was everything I ever wanted, and everything I never thought I’d have.

It was all wrapped in one whirlwind, insta-lust experience.
But could I give myself over fully to Maddix? Could I truly leave the city and the life I’d always known behind?

Could I do it all for the promise of love from one possessive, territorial bear shifter who would do anything to make me happy?

Because if there was one thing Maddix made very clear, it was now that he had found me, he wasn’t letting me go.

Review: It Ends with Us

It Ends with Us It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Coming from someone that has been in a similar situation, this book hits home in so many ways!! the depth of the characters and the time Colleen took to build them really is awesome. I love when characters have a life before the situation they ultimately become involved in. I really love Ryle and then fell for Atlis and was just so confused on who to love until everything started to unravel.

I'm proud of Lily and her life she made for herself but you will be on the edge of your seat for a lot of this book as well. So be ready to love and hate parts of this book but remember that you can't judge it until you finish it ;)

I absolutely adore Danielle and her book voodoo. lol She has an amazing mind with a great flavor. I fell in love with her work a couple years ago and that love only gets stronger. This is the first book I have read by Ali and let me tell you that I will be reading all her books!! I really loved this book and the emotion involved with each character was fantastic. There is more heart than brawn in this book and the sassy sporty gal is awesome!!

I love a sporty sassy mouthed girl any day but besides that she is an amazing swimmer with heart!! Jack was just an awesome dude with a heart of gold and a personality to go with it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the actions that took place in this book and look forward to reading more of Alis' work but more so The Line Below :)
