OMG for all that is holy... Wow.. Ok, Imy is the second author that has truly mad me fall in love with love. The first being Danielle Allen, author of the Back to Life series. Imy you have shredded my heart and left it bleeding on the ground.. Wow.. Ok on to my review...

Catalina "Cat" Pardo which I call "Padro" because that's what I thought was her last name from the beginning. LOL Anyway, Cat was such an awesome character and I absolutely loved her. I pictured her as Garcia from Criminal Minds. Curvy, sassy, vivacious in so many ways and just truly her own woman. This woman is amazing in her strengths, her weaknesses, and her heart. Cat has been hurt to all ends in her life from the losses of so many types of love. In life we only truly think there is one love that can destroy us. The love of a spouse but as life goes on you learn there are so many types of love that can destroy you. Well Cat learns this hard lesson more than she should have throughout her life. Although she has been hurt so much she is still independent, successful and finds her hidden adventurous side. There is no end to the amazingness of "Padro". :)

Stryder Martynus "Marty" as I nicknamed him.. lol This man OMG.. I can not tell you enough about how awesome this character is. From the beginning he's nothing less than a gentleman. Although he would like to throw caution to the wind, he stays on his very best behavior through most of the first half of the book. Stryder is a professional dancer that makes a living as the personal  photographer of his best friend and snowboarding champ Jackson Reese. Stryder has women daily but will not settle down after his love and dance partner broke his heart. But once he sees this curvy latina on the plane he doesn't know what he's in store for.

Imy has truly taken me to all loving lengths in this book. I was left with tears in my eyes and a warm heart. I being a latina also truly fell in love with "Padro" lol Wow I am still reeling from this story. I don't know if I can bring myself to read the preview for the next book....... Oh Imy how I love thee. Five ruby red stars have been granted :)

I grab Catalina by her shoulders and push her against the door of our shared suite, my arms pinning her in place. My heart is racing a mile a minute with my sudden display of aggression. Catalina gasps loudly when I bring my mouth to the soft, silken skin of her neck. I kiss her gently, feeling her pulse throbbing against my lips. “Don’t make fun of me, Pardo. It’s not nice,” I whisper, my nose trailing up this delectable territory of hers. I inhale her delicious scent without shame or regard. “God, you smell like candy.” Gently removing my lips from her delicate skin I raise my head, my eyes beseeching hers. Removing one hand from the wall, I allow it to caress the skin of her jaw, my thumb tracing circles on the low of her cheek. Catalina’s shuddered breaths fuel me further. I move in closer and feel the rising and falling of her chest with each breath she takes. Ripples of desire roll through me, my cock twitching in my pants. She looks at me, drunk with lust, and that gives me all the reassurance I need. I would never pull this stunt on just any woman because it’s the quickest way to get kicked in the balls. But my need for Catalina goes beyond all reason. Inching closer, my nose collides with hers. Her whole body tenses, and a low moan escapes from her throat. When Catalina closes her eyes, I let out a long-drawn breath. “You’re unraveling me, Catalina.” Catalina nods and lets out a sigh, her breath caressing my lips. She replies softly, “And you’re breaking me.”

Excerpt One:
“You don’t get to disrespect me like this. You don’t get to behave like a pompous child. I believed you were better than that,” I pause to catch my breath and gather my thoughts. Placing my hands on my hips I continue. “I’m not fucking anyone here for a story. Oh, if Blake were here now… But if the thought that Jackson Reese is parading inside my panties makes your dull lives exciting, well eat it up you sick fucks.” I pointed out, as fat, silent tears stream down my cheeks. Everyone looks onto me stunned. When I dropped Blake’s name, everyone was taken aback in memory of him. Watching me cry unsettles them, their discomfort etched across their faces. I’m not known to be emotional yet here I am, upset, crying over the stupid words of a jealous colleague. I feel Stryder’s arms pull me closer to him, but I won’t have it. Shoving him aside, I try to run away, but my damn heels won’t let me. I kick them off and run down the long corridor, desperately holding the sobs that threaten my chest. Having my colleagues think I’m less than professional is very upsetting to me. I have forged this career with blood, sweat and tears. I never cut corners or slept my way to the top. The more I think about it, the harder I cry.

Excerpt Two:
Lifting her high heels, I explain the reason for my visit. “I stopped by to return your torture devices you so recklessly abandoned.” Admiring the stilettos one last time, I place them in her hands. “Thank you,” Catalina replies appreciatively. Playing along, she puts them on, one foot at a time with such grace I swear it’s unfair. With a raised eyebrow and a wicked gleam she says playfully, “you’re right, they’re torture.” The way those words slipped from her tongue and rolled against her lips took all of my willpower away. My eyes connect with hers and like always, the energy between us becomes palpable, seemingly electric. Catalina regards me with lust filled eyes, the roundness of her cheeks flushed. She’s turned on alright. “Oh but what a sweet torture,” I admitted seductively, hoping she caught the double entendre behind my words. Without thinking, I move towards Catalina with the force of a freight train. My hands grab her luscious waist and pull her flush against me. The sound she made when I took hold of her body made me harder than I was two minutes ago. Catalina quivers in my arms, an obvious confirmation that my actions are welcomed. Catalina’s head nestles sweetly against my chest. I’m sure she can hear those riotous heartbeats as much as I can feel hers pulsing against my abs. Allowing one of my hands to roam the expanse of her back, I tuck my fingers underneath the hem of her t-shirt, tracing the small of her back, and another whimper escapes her lips. Raising that palm I tilt her chin upwards, beckoning Catalina to look at me. My voice, hoarse and fueled by desire commands her attention. “I’m going to do something I have wanted to do since the moment I first laid eyes on you.”
