Review: Vain

Vain Vain by Fisher Amelie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Although this may be a bit out of the norm for me I LOVED IT!! It had me all over on the emo train for sure because of all the emotion put into it. I was hooked from the first page because of the characters ridiculousness and then couldn't stop because the awesome story that unfolds. This is the first book by this author that I have read and I AM NOT DONE!! LOVE LOVE!!! Thanks to Jacqueline's Reads I found another great book and author!!

Coming Veterans Day
Fallen Soldier, Risen Pride
By Layla Stevens & Rhonda Reuther

Taking a deep breath, he reached in his back pocket and said, "This came for you today. It was certified. I signed for you and I've held it all day but you need to read it."
"What is it dad?"
"It's from the Department of Defense, honey. I didn't tell your mother. She's so excited that you are finally home. I hope it's your final discharge papers but I have a gut feeling that it's not." He said as he handed me the envelope.
Taking the envelope, I'm not sure if I wanted to open it or just chuck it in the trash. However, my military instincts kicked in and I opened it. Unfolding the letter, I immediately sat down next to my dad and hung my head. He takes it out of my hands and reads it himself.
"Can they do that?" he asks with a strain in his voice.
"I guess they can dad. I'm not sure. I know of a few fellow soldiers who have had this same letter. I just hoped I would never get one."

Review: Eighteen: 18

Eighteen: 18 Eighteen: 18 by J.A. Huss
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

AHHHH!!!! So I wrote this awesome review and pressed the wrong thing on my android phone and deleted everything. Guess what? Androids don't have an undo button or function PERIOD!!! UGHHHH!!!! Needless to say I'm gonna try this again but I feel like it won't be as good but here goes nothing.. lol

This book was HAWTTTTTT!!!!! I love teacher/student romances because well they're so effin hot, well as long as it's not some creepy old guy and a young girl. THIS WAS NOT THAT!!! This was so much that I really don't know if I can put it all into words but I will try.

Mateo OMG Mateo..... He is the super hot, tattooed, rough around the edges, alpha with a brain that is just amazing. Who doesn't love a hot nerd?? On top of that he is Shannons teacher.. The teacher that bends her over and... No I will just let you read it and see but GIRLSSSSSSS get your toys ready!!!

Shannon is the sassy transfer student that is sassy, smart, and she's dedicated to what makes her heart pump. After she has lost everyone she loves she is forced to move to yet another school and have to take unnecessary classes to graduate. She starts to make a life for herself but yet again EVERYTHING changes.

I feel like this is not enough.. Look there is so much to tell but not without spoiling anything but just know that if you love these types of romances you will not be disappointed. This book is up there with the book Easy, the honor series and almost Gabriel's Inferno (just no bdsm. close but not quite). I will be reading more of this author that is for sure!!!

Review: Words Left Unsaid

Words Left Unsaid Words Left Unsaid by Missy Johnson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Very good book with all the feels. There will be tears of sadness, happiness and maybe for anger. But overall you will love this book if you love the feels.

Review: Mr. Mercedes

Mr. Mercedes Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was my first Stephen King book and I'm sure it's quite a bit more mild in comparison to his other books. At from what I have heard over the years. lol That being said it is definitely a book you don't want to put down unless it's to think about it.

The main characters of this book are very well thought out and placed together. The villian will make you angry and feel sorry for him at times but isn't that most villians? This villian though is all over the map on crazy so just beware.

Det Hodges is a difficult person to figure out at first but once you get him, you will want to keep learning about him.

I really enjoyed this book and the writing was awesome. At times I wasn't sure where in time I was but then I figured out all the flip flops of the story and that made it more exciting.

I may need to go back and read some of Stephen Kings older books to read what everyone's raving about. I will be back to read the rest of this series for sure! !
