*~* REVIEW OF Black (Black #1) by T.L. Smith *~*

*~* REVIEW OF Black (Black #1) by T.L. Smith *~*

Rose never knew true darkness until she met Black. She learns over a short period that Black is not as dark as what he would like others to think he is. Sometimes meeting true darkness only sheds light.

Rose was a strong character in this book. Although she's been through so much she still holds hope in every day that her life will return to normal. What Rose doesn't realize is that her life will never be normal again after meeting Black. I really enjoyed Roses character because she is so strong-willed that no matter what she never gives up hope. Until it is ripped away from her forever.

Black was raised in an abusive home and never really knew true love. Whether it be love from a mother, love of a father or love of a woman he never looked for it or wanted it. After losing the one he thought he could love at 16, he continued his life of darkness. Black is so dark, possessive, controlling, dangerous and yet she was his soft spot, his light until he loses her forever at 16.

TL is such an amazing author. She rips you apart with no care as to how it affects you. Lol She throws it all to the wind in order to make you hurt, cry, struggle, and just fall apart. Through this book you want to love Rose and Black but hate them at some point just the same. Once I could sit still long enough to read this book the time flew so fast. Bravo TL I'm hooked forever.
