Ker and DH are so freakin dark that it amazes me that they are still normal people.. lol Or are all of us a little dark in our own way? Hmmm... Well this book will indeed make you question that through this whole book!! On to my review :)
Summer and Winter are two young girls that have lived a life no young girl, let alone two girls should ever have to live through. Winter took the brunt of what was handed to them as kids, so that her little sister Summer did not have to live through the worst of the abuse they endured. Thankfully the councelor at their school saw the bruises her mother's dealer had given her. After the authorities were called and the girls were taken to a foster home, their lives changed for the better. No more abuse, no more getting pimped out, and no more worthless mother. A wonderful set of parents took them both in, they started living a real life with parents that loved them dearly. Until that horrid day when Summer went missing....
Winter was such a strong girl that will stop at nothing to find her sister. Although she puts herself in extreme danger, she has someone always watching after her... Good and bad.. I loved Winter for her love, determination, faith, strength and honor for her sister. She was absolutely amazing!!
I don't like getting too far into stories in my reviews because one little slip can lead into a spoiler.. lol But this story will hurt you, make you cringe, make you super angry and then weep for all the girls involved. AMAZING STORY!!! Bravo ladies!!!
