T.L. has always been one of my favorite authors!! Once again she has left me in left field somewhere not expecting anything close to what transpired in this book. The relationship that Issy had with everyone was limited understandably so. She is a dangerous woman and was raised to be so she needed to keep yourself alone no matter what. I just love how she was raised to fight back the people that took everything from her but this book has so many layers from the beginning that you truly don’t know which way this is going to go. When things are going in the right direction and realize oh I get it LOL but do you really? You are still never gonna know until almost the end of the book so get tight grab onto your pillow, your toys, your drink and your snack because you are in for a long, enjoyable, satisfying ride!
