REVIEW:

Ricochet: Locked & Loaded (Ricochet #1)

Locked and Loaded was a great book because you have the excitement of the military combat, the fight within oneself, and the fighting of feelings for others. 

Rick "Ricochet" Brennan is an ex military hunk that is in constant battle within himself so it makes all the things in his life a bit of a challenge. I really enjoyed Ricks character because he shows you that a big strong man can be soft yet hard at the same time. 

Quinn Wallace is such a strong woman in this book between an abusive husband and the loss of her dad. I really liked Quinn because this girl has been through the ringer but she never gives up. Now with a chance at a real life filled with love and independence she still lives in fear everyday. 

Although this book touches on the military and an MMA gym it is not solely about that. This book touches on different battles that some of us fight everyday. This was an awesome book and I am anxious to start the next!! Five Ricocheting stars have been granted :)

REVIEW:

Ricochet: Friendly Fire (Ricochet #2)

Heather did not disappoint with this book at all. It is exciting, angsty, and sexy. Between all the sexy gym heads and Quinn's past things are a bit crazy but it makes the book awesome. The characters are great because they are all protective of who they love and care about regardless of their place in each others lives. I am on to the last one now. I am sorry for the short review but I can't wait any longer!!

REVIEW:

  Ricochet: Extraction Point (Ricochet #3) 

This was a perfect end to this series. This book was awesomely filled with suspense, love and a little fear. Heather really did an awesome job portraying all sides of this story and it truly makes me want to go get ALL her other books. The characters in this book is just as the others in the series AWESOME!!

Quinn is the girl that thinks she is broken because of her past but finds throughout this series that she is a lot stronger than she or her ex ever gave her credit for.

Rick is the big strong Marine that is brought to his knees by a sweet young guy with no idea where it will lead him.

I truly loved this series and hope you all will read it!!

Author Bio:

T.L. lives in Brisbane, Australia with her 2 children. She started writing because of her love of reading. She used to doodle with ideas when she was younger, but never wrote too much. Her life dream is to be a full time author. If you ask her if she is like her characters, she says, “I am like both of the characters from my two book series. I think I have put a bit of myself in both….Krinos tends to say things without thinking, I do the same. This book was crazy awesome. I was about half way through before i realized they were two different girls.. lol I didn't pay attention to the names. But I was hooked from the first page and didn't want to put it down. On to the character reviews...

Kayla was a crazy chick and did not care to show you if you deserved to see. She was only hurting and killing those that deserved to be. The bad part is that she loved it and craved it. Making one bleed was the only therapy she needed. I loved that she was a hardcore b*tch but the fact that others underestimated her abilities and she showed them what she was capable of was the best.

Kristy has had a hard life losing her parents and living with a less than cuddly grandmother. Always feeling that she didn't measure up, she took off to college to change her life. Kristy is the innocent college girl that hasn't really been around the block just yet. Although she catches the eyes of two men she still shys away from both of them.

Tyke and Kai are both detectives that have their eyes on Kristy. Kayla works for Tyke and has a thing for him but Tyke wants a strictly work relationship. Kai is all about Kristy and can't stay aways from her. All he wants to do it protect her but so does Tyke. So who will finally steal Kristy's heart? My favorite guy was Kai because he was such a broody and conflicted man. Yummm...

The author is a genius. I was so thrown with this story. Walking through my house saying OMG OMG... T.L. did an amazing job and I look forward to reading more of her work. Five bleeding stars have been granted :)

It will grab you, it will hug, you and it will love you. I really needed this book. I can't explain it but I just did. On to the character reviews..

Charlotte is just a strong girl that truly doesn't know her strength. She goes through so much loss that I just don't know how she didn't fall off the deep end. Char was a very loving and dedicated daughter that took care of her mom through everything they go through. She works, pays the bills, cleans, takes care of everything that could be done. I really loved Charlotte because she just never loses the love and connection she has with Travis. Even through the twisted mental and physical abuse she endures she keeps faith she will find him again.

Travis is a broken man that is trying to move forward after his loss. He is broken by what has happened in the past and has given up on his dreams. Being such a strong caring man really pulls at your heart strings but once he finds his true path things fall into place he begins to truly live and find happiness. Travis is such an amazing man throughout this whole book and you can't help but fall hard for him. 

This book was so awesome between, loss, love, fear, more loss you are lost in a whirlwind of emotions. One minute you'll be tearing up and the next you might be giggling but mostly you will be filled with hope. Five sweet and loving stars have been granted :)

Yet again an amazing Inked Book.. OMG!!!

Izzy is the firey hot little sister. She was raised with all boy siblings, so needless to say she is just another one of the boys, hot and mouthy like the rest. Izzy can hold her own when boys are involved and she never has to worry about doing without. She is part owner of the tattoo shop she works in with her brothers and does pretty good for herself. She has it all except love but wants no part of the L word. She is completely happy being single or at least that's what she likes to tell herself.

James, is her oldest brothers buddy and ex partner but they still work together. He is a sexy, tattooed, agent and a biker. YUM!!! How can this man get any hotter?? Oh he does.. He is also an alpha, big package, and amazing in bed so that in itself completes the man. He has his eye on Izzy but he doesnt realize shes a bit more than most men can handle. That being said he is ready for the challenge!!

Chelle is really doing wonderfully with this series. I am LOVING it!! I am so excited to read the rest of the series!! Five HAWT golden stars have been granted :)

HOLY SMOKES!!!

This is such an awesome novella that I couldn't put it down.

Mechelle is such an awesome character because she is independent and stops at nothing to achieve happiness. Although her life has fallen apart after so many lies have been revealed she is working to pick herself up and move forward. There are only two men she has ever loved her but who will be the real deal?

Ian and Dylan are the only men she has ever loved. Ian is her husband and they have been together for many years and married for two years. Dylan was her high school love that she thought would always be her ONE. After he makes some crappy decisions she is left broken until she meets Ian years later.

He life is in a shambles when Dylan walks back into her life. What good can come of this?


This is the first book I've read by P.J. and she did an amazing job. I am going to continue the series now!! Five stars have been granted :)
