Book: Shhh...
Author: M. Robinson
Genre: Dark Erotic Thriller
Buy Links: Amazon

*~* Synopsis *~*

Have you ever lied? Held secrets? Betrayed someone?
I have.
McKenzie and I were best friends, soul sisters. We shared everything…or so she thought. To everyone I was perfect and happy. No one knew the real me. That was until I saw him. Everything changed the second we laid eyes on each other. The world stopped moving and only we existed in it. But it just added to the secrets and lies, it became too much and I couldn't tell apart what was real and what wasn’t.
This story is for anyone, who has ever lied and lived to regret it…

Dark Erotic Thriller. Mature audiences.

*~* My Review *~*

HOLY SHIT BALLS!!! This book was CRAZY!! There are so many twists and turns that you feel like you're in a whirlwind. Amazing crazy mind behind this book.... IF YOU LIKE DARK BOOKS GET THIS ONE!!! On to the character reviews..

Lets start with Gianna.. This girl is so unsure of herself from such a young age that you just wonder what in the world happened for her to feel this way so young. She is insecure, self conscious and unsure of her place in the world yet she puts on such a wonderful act. She becomes what everyone wants her to be but never her true self. Until she met the one person she could let go with. Their forbidden love was what truly could hurt them but at the same time fueled them at times. The danger of some love can be the most exciting and heart pounding but is that enough or can it break you?

Mack is Giannas best friend and soul sister. They have know each other forever and were inseparable or so they thought. They went everywhere and did everything together even planned out their whole lives. Mack was the most loved of the two girls because she was so smart and beautiful according to Gianna. Mack loved Gia and would always be there for her no matter what came their way. The girls started developing, moving through school, and once they started attracting boys the gig was up. That's when these girls start to find their own way through teenage life but can they do it and fight their urges?

Ok so I got through that part but I want to tell you so much more. AHHHHH!!! I know I can't so I will tell you a few semi discrete things. The families in this book aren't always what they appear. They may look healthy and loving from the outside but there is a whole other story not being told, well until later on in the book. LOL Another is these girls are so close that they will DO ANYTHING to keep each other safe even if it destroys one persons life and has them losing their life as they see it. They have left families torn apart, bloodshed, bodies broken, and lives ruined. If you like dark books GET THIS ONE!!!! (yup I repeated myself GET IT) I have granted this book five secret stars :)

*~* REVIEW of Desolate by Ker Dukey *~*

Book: Desolate
Author: Ker Dukey
Series: Empathy
Genre: Dark/Suspense/New Adult

*~* Synopsis *~*

I was a son,
A friend,
A brother,
A psychopath.

Eighteen years of being in a psyche ward; I was released into the world. Things have changed, Blake is married to Melody and is a father to my new fixation, Cereus. My beautiful niece who knows nothing of my existence. When consequences of past sins begin playing tricks on me, old cravings demand to be satisfied.

There is no cure for my kind of sickness.

I am void of everything but obsession.
I can’t love,
I can’t feel,
I am Desolate.

*~* My Review *~*

Ker Dukey will ring out your heart and mind before she can repair it with her crazy boys.. She has stolen my heart, mind, body and soul. You will read series and you always wonder if the second book will be as good as the first.. Well have no fear readers this book will not disappoint you at all. On to the review...

Melody is a good character but not the main focus in this book like the last. Don't get me wrong she plays a loyal and loving wife as well as a loving and caring mother. That being said she is still broken and battered mentally over what happen in the first book. She will stand and fight for all that she loves but also with her life yet again...

Blake is Melodys hubby and Ryans big brother. He is such an awesome character because he is loyal to both of them. Although Ryan has hurt them both in so many ways he still loves his little brother and will do anything to keep those two worlds seperate.

Melody and Blake now have a daughter Cereus, that is your typical teenager. She has an attitude and thinks outside the box quite a bit which keeps her seperate from most other kids her age. Cereus is a strong girl and although she thinks she is soulless she shows her true colors.

Ryan oh fucked up, crazy, yet smart Ryan.... This guy OMG!! Ok so I am going to try and not spoil this book and the first with my review of him. Here goes.

Ryan is such an intelligent man and can make anyone believe him no matter what. He is a master manipulator as well as a charming fellow to anyone he chooses. But when he is mean and demented? He is sick and demented!!! You will hate him and he will love every minute of it but then he will tug at your heart a bit at times. Those times may be far and few between but an amazingly sick character he is.

Ker is such an amazing writer and I can not believe how awesome this book is. I am in love with Kers dark writing although I hadn't read many before she got me hook line and sinker. I am granting 5 blood stained stars :)

Eager to bring honour to his family name, Cash Wagner will do everything to stop his father's illegal dealings, no matter what the consequence. And when Skyler falls victim to his operation, he will do everything to make it up to her.

While Cash's motives are blurred, Skyler realizes that she has much more in common with the gorgeous man who flipped her life upside down and agrees to help him with one last job. After all, she needs the money to safe.

Except she's not aware that the job has been waiting for her for two long years...
...and it may be her last.

*~* My Review *~*

This series was a great one and following each character/couple was exciting as well. I love Laceys writing and look forward to more.. On to my review.

Skyler Waters Aka Missy Thorpe is more in this book than she was in the last two. She is so brave, sexy, and confident. Although she tries to stay hidden she ends up running into some trouble that isn't as bad as she thought. I really loved reading about Skyler because she has blossomed in this one although I really expected the meek character she always was but now.... *mind blown*

Cash OMG!! Cash Wagner is sex on a stick!! He is strong, sexy, educated, and hard working. Who can ask for more in a man? He has lost a lot in the past and feels like he's losing some in his present.  Cash wants to save his family name and ends up destroying and saving a lot more than that. I fell for Cash hard because he was so sweet but had a hard outer shell also. He is so passionate and understanding yet pulls no punches either.

This series will really keep you captivated and on the edge of your seat. The mystery and suspense involved is really fun to follow. The Waters and Fields may be country but they will kick your A$$!!! Five disguised stars have been granted :)

I love you.
Three words that can make or break you.

I didn’t.
I’m more lost now than I was when I left. I have no answers, just endless amounts of questions. It was only a matter of time until the truth came to light. I never imagined it would change my entire life and everything I thought to be true.
It was all a game.
Except I wasn’t a player.
I was a pawn.

Sebastian

The end.
Two words that have several meanings. I never thought I’d lose her. But did I ever really have her…
Or did VIP?

Can love conquer all?

*~* Review *~*

M has done it again.. She gets in your head and just fucks your brain all kinds of ways.. You will love every character and hate every character in this book at least five times.. This will not be my normal review. I'm going to just wing it because M has really blown my mind.

Ysabelle one minute makes you wanna choke her out and the next you want to hold her and rid her of every fear she has. Poor Sebastian... Seriously!! I know blah blah he messed up etc etc but my god this man has paid plus some for his mistakes.. Then he is dealing with Ysa and her distorted mind. But OMG!!! The love and passion they hold for each other is astounding. It is truly what true love stories are about. THE REAL deal is always hard and complicated at some point. Whether it's attitudes or pasts or likes and dislikes there are trials and tribulations in every relationship. But making up is the most fun and in this book you will truly witness that.

I absolutely love the relationship between Sebastian and Julia because us divorcees can only hope to have the relationship they have. Christian and his lil boy ways really tore us all up in this one but he was truly just being a kid.

Will you ever truly see a lighter side to Ysa and Sebastian? Can things ever work out? Will we ever make peace with all the characters?

M Robinson truly loves to see us squirm and shiver with anticipation of ANY kind. M is such an awesome author and I am always wet and waiting for her next book. She knows how to pull and play with your emotions. This author will never receive less than five stars by me.. Five soaking wet tear filled stars have been granted :)

Warning: This novel contains adult content and is for mature audience only. This is book 2 in the Crossed Series and while it can be read as a stand alone novel, it is suggested that it is read in order.

*~* My Review *~*

Once again another awesome book by Lacey!! I LOVED it!!! On to the review....

Annabelle is a strong and loving woman in this book. She is going through so much that she doesn't know where her life will lead next. Running from San Francisco but also going to help her parents has really turned her around in such a short period of time. Anna is having such a hard time trying to decipher fantasy and reality at times but little by little she finds out. I really loved her character because although she has been through so much she still tries to move on and enjoy what is at her fingertips.

Derek is an amazing man that he himself has been through the ringer. Between losing close friends, his best friends family being hunted and trying to find peace in his own life this man is truly spinning. He is such a strong and loving character in this book because although he has had so much loss over the last couple years he still pushes through and finds what he truly wants. I love Derek because although Annabelle keeps pulling away from Derek he never gives up on her.

Lacey truly knows how to write a love story with a little mystery suspense. This book is filled with heartache, love, sexy time, and death. ROLLER COASTER but the story around it all is a great one that will keep you wanting more!! I am so anxious to read the next that I am gonna stop here to go read the next one.  So I have granted five oily stars :)

VIP Synopsis:
VIP: The beginning: A point in time or space where something starts.
32-year-old Sebastian Vanwell, a very successful yacht broker, always loved the design and architecture of a luxurious yacht. His only addiction was being on the water. He loved it, he thrived on it, and he needed it in his life. After a very stable, loving childhood with a few bumps, Sebastian married the love of his life: the one person who he knew would always be there. Julia was his rock, and he loved her more than life itself. Sebastian kept his addiction to the water under control, wanting to keep his time with his wife and son his number one obsession. That was, until he saw her.
Ysabelle Telle hit him hard, knocking the wind from his lungs. This new addiction haunted him, the one compulsion that he couldn't control no matter how hard he tried. Coming from worlds apart beautiful, dark, complicated Ysabelle didn't have the rich, protected background that Sebastian had. She had lived a life of hell, growing up in poverty and horrific living conditions with a drug-addict mother who never cared. Ysabelle now lived for one person, and one person only: herself. She was pure perfection. Her beauty, along with a flawless body, had men lined up and driveling over her- ensuring her success as a VIP.
There are too many words that describe the effects when two diverse worlds like theirs collide. They both have too much to lose to get caught in the forceful pull, which could destroy them both.
Warning sex/drugs/language. Mature readers only.
The Madam Synopsis:
Some people need love…
I need sex, money, control, and power.
Anyone could have those four things, but only one could have VIP. Becoming Madam was never a choice for me, it was a mandated order from the most powerful woman I knew- my mother. I was born to fill her shoes, never to make mistakes, or to show weakness.
You are the product of your environment. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree; you learn from what you see, not from what you're told. Nature vs. Nurture. I learned from it all; what I saw, what I didn't see, what I was told, and from reading between the lines.
I was raised with the belief that the world spun ONLY because of me. I held power as far back as I can remember, saw things no one ever talks about, and witnessed illegal acts of sex, drugs, and money by the time I was eighteen.
You saw a glimpse of me in VIP, now see it from the beginning. Enter my world where anything goes; no judgments, no remorse, no guilt. You play by my rules, or you don’t play at all. There are no limits to what I can do, or to what I can show you…I will ensure my legacy by any means necessary.
My name is Lilith Veronica Stone, and I am The Madam.

The return of her ex-lover exposes the dangerous secrets around her—one of these men has the power and connections to keep her safe at any cost, and the endless love for her to use this power or give it up to keep her.

*~* My Review *~*

Holy drenched panties batman!!! This woman can write some super HAWT sex scenes. I'm not real into the bdsm scene but the ones that aren't all that involved with that were amazing. There is more to the story than that but I just wanted to point that out.. lol On to my review...

Charity was such a cool character between her strength and courage. She is hell bent on making it in the city with no help from home although she didn't seen any light at the end of the tunnel. I really loved Charity because through all that happened she is still standing and pushing forward.

Justin Collins is such a super sexy hero in this book. He becomes Charity's hero after saving her from her attacker and helping her pull her life together. Justin is just an awesome character and I could not stop lusting after him through this whole book. He's good in bed, sexy, and takes care of everyone he holds close to him no matter what.

Maya did a great job making this story pull you in and holding you there. Although there is an over abundance of sex scenes in this book it worked for me.. lol I am granting this book five shiny red stars :)

*~* Review *~*

Danielle Allen is one of my most favorite authors. She can hold your heart in the palm of her hands and just drag you along behind her on your knees.. Smh She just knows.... On to my character review...

Roman is an amazing male character that you will fall for from the start with is passion in his art and friendship. Roman has been through so much heartache throughout his life and still was successful. That shows you that you can do anything!! I really fell for Roman when he was struggling to figure out his feelings for Bianca and the compassion he has for others. That being said he was straight forward also and didn't put up with just anyone's BS. This man is worthy of true happiness but finding it is the key.

Romans friends Malik and Brad are just funny throughout this whole book. You just can't help but to giggle at their antics and goofiness.

Bianca was Romans assistant and as their work relationship came to an end they found a friendship blossoming. So they went with it and continued to keep in touch through the year following. Bianca is such an awesome and beautiful character in this story. I truly thought she was so sweet yet feisty.. Bianca is such a great friend to Roman and although they are fighting to save their friendship things stay a bit rocky throughout the book. Bianca has been through her own hurt that she has trust issues that keep her at arms length from everyone. Can she set that aside to be happy??

Danielle wrote this book in Romans POV and that was just cool for her to jump on for a fairly new author. Every book that Danielle has written so far she has captured my heart and wrapped it in bubble wrap. She can really keep you interested, keep your heart pumping with suspense, and making you just fall in love all over again. Tears in your eyes and an ache in your heart, that's what you are left with... This author will never get any less than five blue and black stars from me....

*~* My Review *~*

OMG for all that is holy... Wow.. Ok, Imy is the second author that has truly mad me fall in love with love. The first being Danielle Allen, author of the Back to Life series. Imy you have shredded my heart and left it bleeding on the ground.. Wow.. Ok on to my review...

Catalina "Cat" Pardo which I call "Padro" because that's what I thought was her last name from the beginning. LOL Anyway, Cat was such an awesome character and I absolutely loved her. I pictured her as Garcia from Criminal Minds. Curvy, sassy, vivacious in so many ways and just truly her own woman. This woman is amazing in her strengths, her weaknesses, and her heart. Cat has been hurt to all ends in her life from the losses of so many types of love. In life we only truly think there is one love that can destroy us. The love of a spouse but as life goes on you learn there are so many types of love that can destroy you. Well Cat learns this hard lesson more than she should have throughout her life. Although she has been hurt so much she is still independent, successful and finds her hidden adventurous side. There is no end to the amazingness of "Padro". :)

Stryder Martynus "Marty" as I nicknamed him.. lol This man OMG.. I can not tell you enough about how awesome this character is. From the beginning he's nothing less than a gentleman. Although he would like to throw caution to the wind, he stays on his very best behavior through most of the first half of the book. Stryder is a professional dancer that makes a living as the personal  photographer of his best friend and snowboarding champ Jackson Reese. Stryder has women daily but will not settle down after his love and dance partner broke his heart. But once he sees this curvy latina on the plane he doesn't know what he's in store for.

Imy has truly taken me to all loving lengths in this book. I was left with tears in my eyes and a warm heart. I being a latina also truly fell in love with "Padro" lol Wow I am still reeling from this story. I don't know if I can bring myself to read the preview for the next book....... Oh Imy how I love thee. Five ruby red stars have been granted :)
